Thanks for bringing this to light. As someone who is familiar with your territory, and has watched BC glaciers melt, it is sad to see other inconceivable disasters such as this, and all over the planet. Unfortunately, we have a long way to go before we uncouple our politicians and economies of fossil fuels, let alone change our diets and other drawdowns. The tons of cure will inevitably come in the form of geoengineering, which will be even more catastrophic than climate apocalypse itself.
